More companies the world over are starting to recognize the value of strategically integrating sustainability into their businesses, and use sustainability reports to document their efforts for regulators, investors, and other stakeholders. Some companies opt to release an Integrated Report (IR), a report specifically aligned with the Integrated Reporting Framework of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). The Framework enables companies to present how they create value through six means or “capitals”: financial, manufactured, intellectual, human, social and relationship, and natural.

This year, FPH formally committed to “forging pathways towards a decarbonized and regenerative future” through its very first IR alongside IRs of its energy subsidiaries Energy Development Corporation and First Gen Corporation. By reporting on economic, social, and environmental impacts across their organizations through the lens of integrated thinking, these three industry leaders are able to detail their current operations as well as future plans to further upscale their efforts.
